I love that they are goofy and theyre not in relationships but there is a bit of a healthy want/crush in there. Although the ending was somewhat predictable with the necklace it was still good! I also loved that these books have teens that arent all about hormones and bad romantic decisions. I may end up buying it because I really do need to know what happens. I loved the ending of this book though and it made me sad that the next book still has an 8 week hold at my library. The whole potato thing I found weirdly annoying personally even though I understand its a joke in a middle grade book and im an adult.
That being said I really enjoyed this book.
Again I was a bit lost in what all the mythology was actually trying to tell us BUT used the glossary at the back to help me with words that werent explained very well in the book.
